"just grab your car or his, or rent one if you dont have one and go on a two day trip down south of california. go visit los angeles, stay at a cheap motel and enjoy the entire day there visiting the cities inside los angeles, (i mean unless youve already been there). i did something like that wiht my bf on our 3rd year anniversary and we had a good time. its fun enough for me just being with him, i dont expect romantic settings, i just have fun being around him and he thinks the same thing about me.
take a two day trip, and make yourself a wild promise that your destined to go with him only to find 2 lucky rings for the both of you all the way in los angeles."

How old are you? Do you both live with your parents? I'm asking because if you could get away overnight without it being an issue, you could get a jacuzzi suite at a local hotel. Ya know, go out for a nice supper, come back to a relaxing huge bubble bath with candles. But again that will only work if you are old enough..."

Hi There, My partner and I have only just celebrated our 5th anniversary together, we are not married yet and both 22 so i understand where you are coming from. What we did was something different for us as we usually buy gifts and have a nice meal but this year we decided to make each other gifts, just so we could show that we care by really thinking about what the other would like and put more effort into it rather than buying the same regular type of gift. It turned out really great, I made him a lovely hand-made card and he repaired our old coffee table that I loved but you can do anything at all - whatever makes the other happy. I also surprised him with a night away in a bed and breakfast, These are not too expensive and are cosy and romantic. I'm sure it will make a nice memory for you guys to share. Good luck.
